Taking action to give your thoughts a voice takes courage – and lots of it.
The quickened news cycle and the roar of social media does little to foster discussion, let alone nuanced conversations fill with greys and blurred moral boundaries. And in a world closing in on eight billion people, that's a lot of grey.
While it may take a village to raise a child, it only takes one screaming child to wake a village. A single voice can be powerful, but to be heard over censorship, tradition, and ingrained power structures, it is with the support of others that turns a voice into a chorus.

The political and power intrigues of Westeros are greater than any individual can influence, even for one as principled and just as Brienne of Tarth. But with support and conviction, she no longer needed permission to take action on what she believed in, and in the process, shaped a better world around her.
In our latest release, Mindhive now notifies everyone in a discussion topic when a new comment is made. Like a robust boardroom meeting, each voice is echoed so that everyone is informed – and with that information, will you have the courage to add yours?
Notification
When a comment is made in a discussion topic, all participants in that topic will receive a notification email – with the actual comment included!
Summary
Early each morning for those who are blessed without coffee dependency, a summary email will be sent to discussion hosts (and admins) listing the activity from the previous day. Note: Those of us with coffee dependencies aren't excluded from this experience either.
Preferences
While our lives revolve around Mindhive, we appreciate that not everyone else's does. In your profile, you can turn off the comment notification and/or host summary emails – and to clarify, turning them back on is just as simple.
Naming
We've been cleaning up our names for things. 'Challenges' are called 'discussions' – while the questions are problems to solve, the solution is surfaced through conversation. The start of a comment thread in a discussion is called a "topic", which was previously referred to as a 'major point' or 'post'.
Chat
For Premium members, a link to the exclusive Wax chat app now appears on the menu bar – it's not Fight Club, so we can talk about it.
Profile
Fixed an issue in some cases where the profile image's aspect ratio was not maintained – putting your best foot forward means nothing if your face is distorted.
Ideate
Fixed an issue that prevented comments on ideation cards – we're back to being more than a forum!
Authorship
Clicking on an author's image in a discussion now takes to you that author's profile – time for everyone to update their details!

What is Mindhive?

We are all familiar with forums, but where Mindhive differs is in the next steps where the collected thoughts are distilled, considered and voted on to produce the backbone of a discussion report.
Mindhive is used in research, government and consultancies to canvas a wide spectrum of voices to surface sentiment, insight, and the unexpected.
