Margo MacGillivray, BA, LLB (Hons), LLM, FGIA, is a Strategic Advisor at Mindhive. She brings an exemplary track record in legal, risk, and governance, drawn from her extensive experience in the financial services and legal sectors.

Margo is a seasoned Senior Governance Advisor at Commonwealth Bank and a former legal partner at DLA Piper. Her C-suite experience includes roles as Chief Legal Officer at For The Record and General Counsel at Budget Direct. With degrees from The University of Queensland and the University of Melbourne, Margo’s expertise is deep and broad, encompassing corporate governance, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance.

Her career is characterised by senior positions across the legal and governance sectors within technology and financial services companies, as well as board-level involvement in health and medical research. Margo is known for her strategic focus on governance, risk management, and establishing privacy and data protection frameworks.
